This beautiful card was created by Denise Lynn and is a part of her Sacred Destiny Oracle Deck. My thoughts below are inspired by the card, the description in her deck booklet, and also the energy and channeled message from my initial reading at the beginning of the year that came through me for December.
As I move more into my reflective practices this season, it makes sense to me that the energy that emerged for the month is TRUTH.
This is a potent time to examine what has been guiding us this year, how we showed up, how we have connected with others, our family, and with our service in the world.
The card’s title is Song of the Wind and the image on the card displays a windy landscape with a rooted tree. Air is life force energy. Our Breath. Our bodies are breathed by this intelligence. Our breath is what allows us to communicate our TRUTH with our VOICE.
When we are deeply rooted in our truth we can access our strength, take action and express what we believe.
When we are rooted in our truth, our song and message is able to be heard.
What truth song are you singing?
The landscape is wanting us to know that now is the time to pause and sense into our truth. Discernment is important here- differentiating our own truth from what others believe to be true.
I spent most of the first 30 years of my life in confusion energy and unsure of what I believed to be true. My reality bumped up again and again against what others wanted of me. I prioritized other people’s truth over what I knew to be true for myself. I stifled my own knowing. I shapeshifted in order to fit in and belong by meeting others in their truth. For many years I had no idea I was even doing this.
Because of this historical pattern within me, I have to take extra time and space FREQUENTLY to identify how I feel and what I think in order to identify what is true for me in any given situation.
It is important to make sure I am acting from a place of my own truth, and not just what I think other people are wanting me to think and believe.
Confusion is always an indicator for me that more time and space is needed to recenter and reflect to find my self and my truth.
That being said, moments of quiet are important here, especially this month. Reflection space requires some stillness and silence to actually feel into what is true and allow the information to reveal itself.
When we root in our truth and speak from this aligned place, vitality awakens within us. We get to make choices from energized, pure life force energy. We are lit up and guided forward by our own radiance. We can discern what is not in alignment with ease.
Moving from our resourced, vibrant energy, especially in more challenging times is the medicine and antidote to the chaos.
A place of knowing to orient back to within our selves.
This month is a beautiful opportunity to spend time in reflection about our truth. Especially as we move into a season full of obligation and "shoulds".
