allow the space to be the healing
Sara Vatore
I allow the SPACE to be the healing.
Sometimes creating the intentional space for our process is ENOUGH.
No more efforting, forcing, willing transformation. No more taking another course, watching another video, trying to “do” the next new thing to get your system to shift.
Simply the act of slowing down to take the space needed to allow your body the time to pause, unfurl and express, gets to be the catalyst for the potent alchemization you desire.
Easier said than done when our bodies and minds are used to continuous movement and self “development”. We often think we need to “do” a lot for our healing or expansion in order to experience the quantum shifts we desire. It can be challenging to get our physical bodies to slow or pause without feeling agitated, out of sorts, uncomfortable, etc.
However, one of the most common pieces of feedback I get from clients is how surprised they are when they realize how much healing, integration and expansion growth and transformational energy emerges from simply creating the space for the Body and Being to get a chance to express organically.
Space where there is no pressure to BE or to NOT be a certain way. No expectations. There is room for the system to come out of holding, patterning or masking the body/energy/being might be stuck in.
We are living, breathing complex organisms. We are each a living process and tending to our Body and Being in empty spaciousness is where the real magick is able to unfold.
Creating the space and then continually honoring the space.
As a homeschooling mom, running her own business, I often have to weave in these spaces into my life (and they are not always easy to find!) Here are some of my favorite ways to find pauses and moments of space:
The 3 minute bathroom trip.
The 10 minute shower.
The deep breath at my altar in the morning.
The walk to the mailbox before we leave for an outing.
The extra 5 minutes in the car after everyone has headed back into the house.
Any time I can find in nature
Getting up before my kids for an hour of quiet morning time
Scheduling extra appointments with practitioners, so that I have accountability to block off time for taking space.
