In the biodynamic craniosacral training I am in currently we are exploring the concept that all movement generates out of deep stillness.
That in order to be in and harness our fullest expression of life force, we must first slow down enough to sense great stillness.
Movement then sparks organically from this part of the cycle, generatively and effortlessly without forcing or pushing.

A great dissolving of edges is needed in order to get to this kind of quiet.
A slowing down and intentional listening is required.
A befriending of spaciousness is required.
A meeting of the self and the body with great curiosity and kindness is essential for this all to happen.
It is challenging for so many of us to access places of stillness within.
We crave spaces and time to drop in and connect to ourselves but then when we get it, we have the impulse to fill the emptiness with noise or more versions of “doing”.
It can be unsettling for so many of us to access sensations of quietude or stillness especially as we move further into December and have a lot of outside stimulus instructing us how to be during this time.
This is a continuous work in progress for me. When I find that I am filling my empty spaces more than I would like, it is an invitation to double down on protecting these quiet moments in my life. This is when I book another session with one of my Practitioners or recommit to daily spaces to sense my essence and the stillness within my organism.
Working with my Practitioners is where I find I can be held in this process of dropping deeply into the depths of the stillness within. The support of a second grounded nervous system helps to amplify sensations of peace, calm and stillness within my own body and energy.
The more we have felt-sense experiences slowing down and accessing stillness in generative, supportive, safe ways, the more we solidify this imprint in our bodies. We are helping our organism reconnect to the parts of the cycle we need in order to thrive.
If you are desiring support accessing your stillness within this winter, I would love to invite you to a 𝙎𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 or to set up a 𝙎𝙋𝘼𝘾𝙄𝙊𝙐𝙎 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 with me.

Sessions include time working with the MELT Method (a modality that hydrates the connective tissue and releases stuck stress from the body), hands-on-healing support for your nervous system while you are fully clothed on a table, and an oracle card reading.
These sessions are designed to help you strengthen your ability to sense your self and your essence, release and integrate old patterns and stuckness at the physical and energetic levels and find more comfort, safety and space in your body/organism.
