pause to celebrate

Sara Vatore

Wow, November was a big month over here. A month of stretchy achievements and potent celebrations. On the podcast and in emails I have been making a point to pause and celebrate the milestone markers in my life and business. To honor the hard work and results that go into running a business and living and being during these complex times.

We are conditioned to glaze right past our achievements, with an “on-to-the-next” attitude. We set a goal, meet it, and move on to another goal.

We don’t often take stock of what we accomplished and really allow ourselves to feel good.

How good can it get?

How good can I let myself feel?

When it gets good, it can bring up fear.

“When will the next shoe drop? It can’t really stay THIS way?”

When it gets good, it can bring up guilt.

“But, there are so many people struggling right now, I shouldn’t be celebrating or making a big deal about this...”

I definitely can experience waves of guilt and fear when things start to fall into place, or I accomplish a goal or have a “win” in my business, especially as things grow and expand.

BUT/AND I am working to catch myself when I slip into those old patterns, so I can start to more fully embody TRUST.

Trust that it IS working, and that it’s working well.

Trust that things are unfolding in divine timing.

Trust that it can feel good sometimes.

It is so important more than ever to embrace and embody the energy of celebration when things are going well and BE expressions of that state.

That excitement. That joy. That relief. That goodness. That bliss. That pleasure.

Spreading our joy, shifts the vibration around us.

Mirroring our success, shows what is possible to others.

So, in that fashion, I would love to be shamelessly witnessed in some major end of the year achievements:

-Celebrating successfully completely a year of my husband working only 2 days a week

-Celebrating bringing my business to a point where I can financially sustain our family AND my husband left his job!!

-Celebrating 2 months in a row hitting numbers in my business I have been writing down in my journal and desiring for YEARS!

-Celebrating the Multidimensional Podcast’s second birthday!

-Celebrating speaking at The Natural Living Expo for the second year in a row

-Celebrating receiving the biggest check of my career for a 3 day workshop at the end of December!

-Celebrating hosting a weekend somatic retreat for a powerhouse of a client!

-Celebrating taking my family to Hershey Park for a mini getaway

-Celebrating consistently signing NEW dream clients and renewing contracts with favorite clients

-Celebrating taking over my father’s business and carrying on his legacy

-Celebrating letting it BE and FEEL good.

As the calendar year is coming to an end, and the winter starts to reveal herself, I love taking space to go inwards and be in reflection. Sometimes I do this in December, or at the beginning of January, or towards the end of January.

There is no right way or time to do it… just sensing into wherever it feels most generative.

As you spend time over the next couple of months in any of your end of the year reflection traditions, I invite you to include taking stock of what you are celebrating this year.

Don’t skip the good. Pause, acknowledge, honor and celebrate!

And, if you’re feeling called to have some support with creating space for reflection and renewal, I invite you to reach out. I have a number of ways to support you as we end the calendar year and move deeper into Winter. Send me an email to sara@saravatore.com and let’s connect.
