Each month for 2024 I pulled an animal energy for us to work with for support. What energy and animal is here to hold and care for us during this challenging time on the planet?
For December the support energy is:
Dove Spirit: Be Peace
As I sit to write this after our first snow of the season, I am reminded of the dense quietude and presence that’s possible when spending time outside after a fresh snowfall. The air is crisp and clean, carrying a slight chill that awakens your senses. The ground and trees are blanketed in layers of white and sparkle, muffling all sound and creating a profound stillness.
Peaceful. Quiet. Soft. Slow. Present.
The Winter months provide permission to slow down and go inward. Dove Spirit is here this month to encourage us each to embody PEACE. To BE peace.
What would it be like to interact with others and operate from the energy of PEACE?
We are reminded that we have the ability to access this place of softness and compassion, even in the face of turbulence. Peace lives within each of us.
There is a particular energy imprint in my physical body when I access a place of peace. It feels a particular way. There is a slowness, a softening, a resting-back-into place, void of urgency and expectation.
If you’re finding it challenging these days to access the energy of peace, Dove Spirit is here to remind you to meet yourself where you’re at without judgement. There is a lot going on.
Calling on support from your Spirit team, other guides, or nature mirrors can be generative at this time to assist you in accessing some relief and reminding you how to sense into the energy of PEACE.
The energy of:
A calm lake at sunrise, where the still water mirrors the sky.
The gentle rhythm of ocean waves lapping against the shore.
Sitting with a cup of tea, under a soft blanket on the couch by a fire.
The golden hour before sunset, where the light feels warm and everything slows down in the glow.
Watching snowflakes fall, observing their slow, delicate descent through the air.
Sitting in a field of wildflowers, feeling the breeze sway the flowers and hearing the faint hum of bees and distant bird calls.
A clear starry night, gazing at constellations while enveloped by the stillness of the vast universe.
The first light of dawn, where the world feels hushed, and everything awakens slowly.
Lying in a hammock, gently swaying under a tree canopy, feeling cocooned by nature.
Meditative rain, where gentle drops hit the roof or windows, creating a rhythmic backdrop for calm.
What do you find peaceful?
This month is the perfect opportunity to take stock and reflect on who we are BEING in our lives, in our relationships, and in our work in the world.
Oftentimes we can get very hooked in thinking about what we are “doing” or supposed to be “doing.”
Instead, I invite you to start to orient towards, WHO AM I BEING? Notice how that shifts your inquiry.
How you BE affects those around you. Embodying peace, compassion, and love transmits to everyone you interact with.
For those of us who identify as being “fixers” and “helpers” for people we care about, this month is reminding you that the biggest impact you have comes from your embodiment and how you’re showing up energetically in your relationships.
There is nothing to “do” right now, other than bringing your full presence and essence to how you move and engage in your life.
May you embrace and allow compassion to warm your heart.
May you awaken to the peace deep within your core.
May you become the peace you wish to see in the world.
